Parks and Greenways

In total there are over 85 acres (35.4Ha) of parks and greenways on or immediately adjacent to Galena Shores.

Public Park

ALDL is donating 71 acres (29Ha) to the crown (Province of British Columbia) for purposes of public park.  This is immediately East of the subdivision. 

Strata Parks

There will be 2 parks that are on either side of the Activity Centre.  These are private parks for the use and enjoyment of the owners and guests of Galena Shores.

Waterfront Parks

There will be 2 waterfront parks.  One in the middle of the property on the waterfront that is adjacent to the boat launch.  This is quite large and will have water features, picnic areas, landscaping, and gardens.  The other is the beach park that is on the South end of the property.

Greenways

There will be a number of greenways that go from the East to the West and provide access to the waterfront.
