Beach
There is this place that we go at Galena Shores. A place
where one can be alone in the bright sunlight and listen to
the water lapping gently along the empty shore. Fresh
clean water, the cry of loons, splashing trout, and still
air calms, relaxes, and restores your soul.
In general, the beach is rocky.
However just off the South end of the property is a large
natural sandy beach (pictured top left).
On the North end of Galena Bay (pictured bottom left) is a
wonderful sandy beach that Penticton or Kelowna would be
proud to have. The Galena Bay water in the summer is from 75-80
Fahrenheit, often mirror smooth, and great for water skiing,
wakeboarding, tubing, and swimming. The choice is
yours.
From anywhere on the Galena Shores site, you can gaze at
the calm water and look across the lake to the towering
glacier capped mountains on the West side of Arrow Lakes.
If this is what you are looking for then please
register. We look forward to seeing you at the Beach!
